Enemy Attacks on FSB

  1. Every week that the total EI for the AO is over 400, there is a 1-in-6 chance that the VC/NVA will commit to an attack of some type. Should an attack be called for, roll 1d6 on the Enemy Attack table in FNG:Operations
    1. Should an attack be indicated it will come at a random time in the following week.
    2. At the end of each phase of the following week roll 1d6. If the result is a 1 then the attack is launched immediately.
  2. Occasionally, an enemy unit's plotted operating area will overlap the sector containing the FSB. When this is the case, there is a 1-in-6 chance each turn that the unit will probe the FSB defenses, as above, though with no extra enemy units involved. Probing attempts by the enemy are not serious attacks.
    1. If the plotted enemy is an artillery unit, then they will begin to harass the base with Incoming fire as described FNG:Operations, rather than directly probe the defenses.
    2. At the start of each phase roll 1d6. If the result is a 1-3 then the attack is launched immediately.

Ground Assault Resistance (GAR)

GAR is reduced by -1 due to the constant traffic passing on National Route 9 providing cover for VC activity.

Artillery Bombardment Resistance (ABR).

ABR is currently zero.

Total Resistance (TR) Rating

BPD Completed: Consists of trenches, a defensive berm with fighting positions, and claymore mines and trip flares set farther out.

Aid Station Completed: A basic first aid station in a tent surrounded by a low sandbag wall.
